Sara Schleicher is a printmaker and 2D studio artist and instructor. She was formerly Director of the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, an artist residency for visual artists, musicians and writers near Saratoga, Wyoming, Fine Arts Admissions Coordinator for Bowling Green State University School of Art, and Instructor of Printmaking, Color Theory, 2D Foundations, and Drawing at BGSU, as well as Fundamentals of Drawing at Owens Community College in Toledo. She is a printmaker who approaches her imagery with a drawing base. The drawings are typically completed on frosted Mylar and then used to expose photopolymer printmaking plates to create detailed intaglio prints.
